My home theatre is dual purpose Rumpus/Media room underneath the rear of my house. Partially submerged in the ground, it has the dual benefits of being relatively cooler than the rest of the house (especially good in summer) and also sound is partially dampened by the soil & rock ( sound bats help out elsewhere).

I’ve just replaced the Fujitsu 50″ HD plasma TV with a Panasonic 54″ Full HD plasma TV. The Fujitsu has relocated upstairs to the living room to form the heart of a secondary HT with a Panasonic Blu-Ray HTIB and a XBox 360 for games & media centre duties.
